She is one of the most extraordinary voices in classical, jazz, and pop music.

With her new album “Woman & I”, Lia Pale steps into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter for the first time, presenting songs that are immediate, honest, and personal. Drawing on art song and her long-standing collaboration with Mathias Rüegg, she finds her own intimate musical language on this album.

Woman & I is minimalist in sound but rich in nuance—music that transcends genre boundaries, with tonal depth, open expression, sensuality, and playfulness.

On April 9, Lia Pale will perform her new songs live for the first time in Austria, together with Georg Vogel (piano), Miloš Čolović (bass), and Ingrid Oberkanins (percussion).
