“These shows are not normal concerts, but a journey in three acts,” says Julian le Play, describing his “le Play unplugged” format. The focus is on lyrical texts, a mini orchestra, and the three major chapters of life: searching, finding, and letting go. The stage becomes a space for personal stories, intimacy, and genuine connection.
Well-known songs and new titles appear in reduced arrangements, bringing voice, emotion, and poetic singing to the fore. Between melancholy for the past and anticipation for what is to come, an atmosphere is created in which the audience finds itself reflecting on its own questions about life. People come with their stories—as seekers, finders, or those who are letting go.
This special concert series also gave rise to the album, recorded in selected theaters and concert halls. For the first time, this intense concert tour can now also be experienced in the open air at the Tanzcafé Arlberg.
