Personal and highly emotional

It's that particular mindset many people have in their twenties: gaining experience, finding their place in the world—and themselves. Bella, the young pop newcomer from Austria, is right in the middle of this process. And we get to listen.

Bella has been singing for as long as she can remember – for herself, in a choir, together with her mother. At the age of 14, she wrote her first songs in English, followed shortly afterwards by her first German-language release, “Nie Verliebt,” which immediately attracted attention. Today, Bella is 21 and one of the most promising newcomers in the German-speaking world.

Whereas her music used to focus primarily on love, it has since become more introspective. Bella's songs are personal and highly emotional, telling of self-doubt, identity, and the desire to understand oneself better. Self-discovery is her central theme – and one that many share.

This is particularly impressive in her song “Ich glaub ich” (I think I). In it, Bella deals with the painful feeling of not liking herself. The ballad builds to an intense emotional outburst, full of contradictions, but also hope. Despite all her doubts, she remains confident that things can get better. At Tanzcafé Arlberg, she will perform these personal and highly emotional songs live on stage.
